Kindergarten and 1st Grade Winter Foxes

One of our Kindergarten classes and one of our 1st grade classes had the opportunity to make these beautiful winter foxes. They learned how to create a winter landscape with snowy trees using the letter "Y" to help create the trees. They then cut out the shapes necessary to make the fox's body, head and tail. Using warm colored tissue paper squares, they glued them onto the body parts and experimented with overlapping the different colors. They glued the fox onto their winter landscapes.
